Why “SPEAK THE PROMISE”?
Isaiah 55:10-11 (AMP) says:
“For as the rain and snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth, Making it bear and sprout, And providing seed to the sower and bread to the eater, So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me void (useless, without result), Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.”
(Emphasis mine).
When we SPEAK THE PROMISE of His Word, we declare truth that will accomplish what it was meant to. We align our hearts with His intended purposes.
For example, God’s Word tells us that He is Jehovah Jireh: The Lord Will Provide. He promises to be our provider. So when we declare and speak that promise, we can trust that His Word will be accomplished, and we don’t have to worry about provision, because God promises to give us what we need.
